ESE Symposium on Special Education - February 25 at Lakeland High School

Polk Symposium on Special Education Scheduled for Feb. 25, 2017

The public is invited to a day of learning and sharing at the Polk Symposium on Special Education.

This free event will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakeland High, 726 Hollingsworth Road.

Families of students with disabilities can learn more about resources available to them and ask questions. An expo area will have agencies and vendors present to provide answers and support.

Workshops will be presented on a variety of topics, including Individualized Education Plan rights, guardianship, behavior supports, pathways to earning a diploma as well as transition and support services.

Visitors can also enjoy lunch, snacks and opportunities to win door prizes.
