How to Renew Your Professional Certificate

Four (4) Step Process

  1. Create a VERSA Educator Account and onboard.
    (Note: Select District Affiliation: 53-Polk)
  2. Review the Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Complete the FLDOE Renewal Application.

    (*Note: If you questions about the FLDOE's Application call the BEC Contact Center
    (1-800-445-6739) or email flcertify@fldoe.org.)

  3. Apply for your new certificate with the FLDOE.
  4. Complete the Polk County School Certification Renewal Process Form.

How to Renew Your Professional Certificate

(Former/Retired Employees)

Four (4) Step Process

  1. Create a VERSA Educator Account and onboard.
    (Note: Select FLDOE Affiliation: 100-FLDOE)
  2. Review the Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Complete the FLDOE Renewal Application.

    (*Note: If you questions about the FLDOE's Application call the BEC Contact Center
    (1-800-445-6739) or email flcertify@fldoe.org.)

  3. Apply for your new certificate with the FLDOE.
    (Note: Payment must be submitted and processed with the FLDOE.)
  4. Send a request to the patti.wilkins@polk-fl.net to submit your Inservice Points (i.e., CT116 Form) to the FLDOE.
